The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra

 

Swindon North Rotary Club are pleased to announce that some Members of The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will be coming to Highworth to perform in St Michael’s Church on Monday 11th May 2020 with the concert starting at 7 o’clock.

The performers are Timothy Lines – clarinet, Nina Ashton bassoon, Timothy Jackson horn, Thelma Handy violin, Alex Mitchell viola, Ian Bracken cello and Anthony Williams double bass.

The programme for the concert is as follows:

Francis Poulenc (1899-1963) Sonata for clarinet and bassoon (1922)
Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868) duo for cello and double bass (1824)
Interval
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) Septet in E-flat major opus 20 (1799)


Tickets will cost £12.00 and they will be available to buy from the Lighthouse Bookshop in Highworth or can be ordered or reserved by emailing Terry Williams at terry.williams1@btinternet.com. Please note that the tickets will be numbered but the seating in St Michael’s church will be unreserved.
Any proceeds from the performance will be used to support Swindon North Rotary Club’s nominated charities.
